The Museums Computer Group’s Museums on the Web (UKMW) conference is one of my favourite annual events for the cultural heritage sector, packed with great speakers and interesting attendees. This year the event rebranded as Museums+Tech and was held on Wednesday 19/10/16 at the Wellcome Collection, London.
Both keynotes were particularly excellent, and I was delighted to speak about my work on Poetic Places, despite a minor technical snafu forcing me to wing the first half. The post-event drinks event was also very energetic, packed with both conference delegates and those who couldn’t make the sold-out event.
